Gert was born and raised on a farm in Shawano WI, while Neil has always lived in the Green Bay area. When done with school Gert went on to working at Standard Oil while Neil went to be in the Navy. They met when Neil was home through mutual friends, they were both invited to the same party. They then dated long distance for two years while Neil went back to the Navy and was stationed in Alaska.  …read more!

Evelyn was born and raised in Oconto Falls Wisconsin where she met her husband, Bernard. The two married in 1950 and raised seven children; four girls and three boys.  …read more!
