Delores
Delores was born and raised in Kato, Wisconsin. After graduating from high school, Delores married the love of her life, Glenn.. Together, they had four children: three girls and one boy. Delores worked at Younkers for 14 years. …read more!
Joan
Joan was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. After high school, Joan began her career working at a local bank. Joan married Gerald on September 7th and together they had three children. Joan volunteered at a nursing home doing a little bit of everything, from caregiving to transportation. …read more!
Josie
Josie was born and raised in Beaver, Wisconsin. Throughout her life, Josie did a lot of farm work. At the age of 25, she married Harvey on May 29th, 1954 and they moved to Pound, WI. Together, Josie and Harvey had two children. Josie has spent many hours babysitting her grandchildren whom she loves so much. …read more!
Harvey
Harvey was born and raised on a farm in the Crivitz area. After high school, Harvey worked at Frigo’s Cheese Factory in Lena for one year. Then, he took over his family farm because his parents were moving out of town. Harvey moved to Milwaukee and worked at Allis Chalmers in production, and other manufacturing companies. …read more!
Shirley
Shirley was born and raised in Neenah/Menasha, Wisconsin. After high school, Shirley went to work for the Marathon Papermill, where she worked for 13 years. Shirley then attended UW Oshkosh and studied social work. She also took weekend classes at UW Stevens Point. In 1962, Shirley married Mark and together they had one son. …read more!
Mark
Mark was born and raised in Oneida, Wisconsin. During grade school, Mark worked on a farm. After high school, he attended UW Stevens Point and received an associates degree. Mark served in the US Navy for three years, and event traveled on the U.S.S. Wisconsin Battleship to Japan! …read more!
Elaine
Elaine was born and raised in Green Bay, WI. She got married at 16 to a wonderful man named Ernie. They had two children. After she married she started working at a car hop. Over the years, Elaine worked for several different printing companies. …read more!
Resident Spotlight!
Millie
Millie was born and raised on a farm in the Town of Grover near Peshtigo, WI. She LOVED to do fieldwork, including shocking oats, cultivating corn with the horses, and raking hay. Millie grew up with the neighbor boy, Fred. Eventually they took a liking to each other, and when she turned 20 they got married. She then moved across the field to his farm and they started their family of four. …read more!
